Artists from two schools of Fine Arts; the School of Painting at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts of the American College of Greece, come together in one common presentation of their work. The sixteen participating artists belong to the youngest generations of both schools and are part of different study levels. Despite their geographical detachment, these young creators set up, through their works, a fertile dialogue, open to several interpretations, concerning new approaches to pictorial synthesis and artistic conception and the exploitation of new techniques of creative expression. Although there seems to be no common denominator in the work of the presented artists, freedom and constant personal and artistic struggle and reflection are the common points of reference for all of them. Photography, sculpture, painting, installations, collage, etching, video coexist in this exhibition which highlights the global character of art, for the participating artists seem to be moved by the same creative and conceptual concerns, despite the kilometers that separate them.
