It lasts about five seconds, maybe even less. A climate change, in which emotions and intentions are both stabilized and troubled. What are the options? To forget or to follow, knowing that there won’t be a second chance to this second chance.
No matter what comes next, something just filled the atmosphere of the present, that is not removable. Now, you can’t do as if nothing had happened.
Eye contact is an evening of performances, interventions, concerts, screenings and more put together by the students of the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts. It is the conclusive event of a 4 months fieldwork research in Athens, a collective investigation in tracing affective and aesthetic responses that arise amid situations of thick uncertainties.
Eye Contact is the first in a series of public events organized in Athens and Bordeaux, France, as part of the research program « Modern Lovers » from the Master of Fine Arts and Design of EBABX – Bordeaux School of Fine Arts. « Modern Lovers » is conducted by Thomas Boutoux, Teddy Coste and Clara Schulmann, in collaboration with Apostolos Lampropoulos from Université Bordeaux 3 – Montaigne.
